Free from colourism
Limited A4 Size print including frame.
This piece relates to a black mans struggle over centuries, from slavery, oppression to opportunities in todays society. Colourism is discrimination based on skin colour. As a black African I know what I have gone through, from racial abuse in school, struggling getting a professional job due to my surname. Currently there are migrant slavery in Libya mainly Nigerians trying to find a better life. This piece is to remind our selves that slavery and oppression isn’t dead and it still goes on either through various ways and there are only few who have overcome the slavery.
